Position OverviewThe School of Business at North Carolina Central University seeks highly qualified applicants for a 9-month, tenure-track position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting in the Department of Accounting. Selected candidate must include an earned Ph.D. in Business with a Major in Accounting from an

AACSB -accredited institution and demonstrated potential for quality teaching and research.

AACSB -accredited universities may be considered at the instructor level. Candidates with teaching interests in accounting systems/data analytics and tax. Candidates with experience using

SAP

are preferred. Instructional duties include teaching, curriculum development, and participation in the program's assurance of learning efforts, and may consist of online instruction. In addition to instructional responsibilities, faculty members are expected to maintain an active program of scholarship as well as participate in service activities. Quality productivity in academic research is expected.Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesTeaching interests in accounting systems/data analytics and tax. Experience using
