LCS Electrical TechnicianPosition Summary:Life Cycle Engineering is looking for an Electrical Technician to perform preventative maintenance on U.S. Navy Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Class Ships based in San Diego, CA in accordance with the Navy's Planned Maintenance System (PMS).

Clearance Required:Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance and be capable of obtaining base access

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance using the Navy Maintenance Requirement Card (MRC) to inspect, test, make adjustments, perform minor repairs, or replace defective components on shipboard equipmentInspect and test electrical systems and equipment to locate and diagnose malfunctions through visual inspections and testing devicesReassemble and test equipment after preventative maintenanceIdentify and document system and/or equipment problemsVerify configuration dataRefer to drawings and manufacturers' specifications that relate to equipment undergoing maintenance
