POSITION SUMMARY:

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for providing efficient food service procedures for all food areas and assisting the Food and Beverage Manager in daily preparations for upcoming events.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

Assist with the daily production, preparation and presentation of all food for the facility's concessions and special events to ensure a quality, consistent product is produced which conforms to all SFM standards

Assist with opening and closing of concession locations and kitchens

Consistently checks inventory and makes necessary orders

Assists with catering orders: supply, food preparations, room setup, service, breakdown, etc.

Stocks all concession stands

Follows all appropriate local and state health department rules and regulations, including safe food handling procedures

Maintains clean and functioning kitchens throughout the facility, including proper food handling requirements and appropriate food storage temperatures

Supervises part-time team members to ensure safe and proper handling of food, products, and equipment

Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Safe Serve Certification or similar certification

CPR and First Aid Certified

2+ years of experience in the food service industry

Ability to work productively with a wide variety of ages

Flexible work schedule and regular attendance

Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Must be detail oriented and have outstanding organizational skills

Ability to multi-task and prioritize

Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations

Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility

Commitment to the safety and well-being of others

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age or older

Must be able to work irregular shifts to include nights, weekends, holidays etc.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to lift 40 lbs waist high

Will be required to stand for extended periods

Facility has intermittent noise
