Controller

Our client is a successful manufacturer located in the northern suburbs. They are seeking a Controller to oversee all accounting and finance for one of their Business Units. The Controller will oversee report into Senior Leadership and interact regularly with Plant leaders. This role is hybrid with 4 days in offices near Vernon Hills, IL and 1 day a week work from home.

What the Senior Controller brings in skills and experience:
- BS in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CMA preferred
- 5 years minimum at the Controller level in a manufacturing environment
- Large ERP experience required
Responsibilities of the Controller:
- Responsible for Financial and Accounting activities for BU and support consolidation and reporting to corporate team.
- Support and improve ongoing KPI reporting for the BU.
- Perform Month end close and financial reporting with analysis for leadership.
- Prepare Board Deck for telling the financial story and present to leadership.
Estimated salary for this role depending on qualifications and experience $140,000 - $150,000 plus bonus potential.
