Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Department Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years of ER experience and completion of 2-3 travel assignments License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; Preferred: TNCC, ENPC, NRP, NIH Must-Have: - High acuity experience in fast-paced ERs with high volume- Comfortable with patient ratios of 5:1 Job Description: - Work in a dynamic emergency department with 27 beds and a diverse team.- Day Shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, and 2-3 medics, with staffing increases later in the day.- Night Shift includes 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, and 2-3 medics.- Perform key procedures such as RSI, sepsis interventions, stroke protocol with tPA administration, central line placement, and more.- Provide care for psychiatric patients and handle transfers to other facilities.- Ideal candidates are relaxed, easy-going, friendly, team-oriented, and respectful.- No on-call duty. Required to work four weekend shifts over a four-week scheduling period.- Dress Code: Scrub color/attire - navy blue or white.
