ASSESSMENT FACTORSServes as an advisor on substantive taskings and initiatives to support senior Agency leadership.Analyzes key information and evaluates the effectiveness of alternative solutions, courses of action, and strategies needed to address complex, controversial, and multi-faceted issues.Establishes priorities and oversees the coordination of work across assigned projects or programs to achieve timely and positive outcomes.Counsels both leadership and workforce on complex legal issues generating and assessing both conventional and novel approaches to problems.Guides others toward the adoption of an idea, assumption, or conclusion that is in the best interest of the overall mission and organization.

HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLSExpertise in civilian personnel law and other employment-related issues, to include recruitment, appointment, compensation, disciplinary and adverse actions, DOL-Office of Workers’ Compensation Program (OWCP) claims, reasonable accommodation, travel regulations and associated claims, and interagency details of personnel.Experience in other federal government legal practice areas, to include Ethics, Litigation, Intelligence Oversight, Intelligence Law, Open Source Intelligence, Acquisition, Analysis and Operational Law.
