Position Overview:
MLR Healthcare is looking for a dedicated and skilled Radiation Therapist to join our dynamic team in Santa Clara. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in radiation therapy and a strong commitment to patient-centered care. In this role, you will provide precise radiation treatments while ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients throughout their treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities:Administer radiation therapy treatments according to prescribed plans.Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment with a focus on patient safety.Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and modify treatment plans.Monitor patient responses and report any concerns to the healthcare team.Educate patients and their families about the treatment process and what to expect.Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.BLS from the American Heart AssociationCalifornia Certified Radiologic Technologist - Therapeutic Radiologic Technology CertificateStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.Benefits:
