Position Overview:
MLR Healthcare is seeking a certified Radiation Therapist to join our oncology team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in administering radiation therapy treatments, while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by oncologists.Accurately prepare and position patients for treatment.Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment in compliance with safety protocols.Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and adjust treatment plans as necessary.Monitor patients for side effects, providing education and support.Maintain precise patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field from an accredited program.Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (RT(T)) and state licensure in Illinois.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.What We Offer:
