Job Details Level Experienced Job Location Camp Humphreys, South Korea - Camp Humphreys, South Korea, MD Position Type Full Time Education Level 4 Year Degree Travel Percentage None Job Shift Day Senior-level Project Manager (PM) Overview of position: FEDITC is seeking an experienced Information Assurance Engineer to be responsible for the successful performance in supporting the 8th Army C4I Deployable IT Services at United States Army Garrison (USAG) Humphreys, Pyeongtaek, South Korea . All work is related to C4I. Information Technology (IT) has transformed traditional battlefield functions, through emerging IT applications, progressing towards full realization of net-centric warfare. The complexity as well as number of 8A systems and networks has rapidly outgrown our organic ability to manage them. This support ensures a robust net-centric infrastructure, maintains network dominance, supplements our organic personnel and is fundamental to accomplishing the 8A mission. This is an upcoming opportunity contingent on contract award with a projected start date of 2 December 2024. A United States Citizenship and an active Secret Clearance with a minimum Background Investigation complete NALCT3 with SSBIT5 initiated is required to be considered for this position. Must either reside in South Korea or be willing to relocate if currently outside of South Korea Responsibilities: Augment the 8A G6 VTC Team by performing VTC support and technical services. Act as the VTC network maintenance focal point. Provide software, system, and network administration and systems sustainment of strategic and tactical video walls, VTC suites, and Cisco Management server. Act on trouble tickets NLT 24 hours of receipt. Document 100% of trouble tickets to include providing details of all coordination and troubleshooting actions attempted and provide their results. All open VTC trouble-tickets status shall be reported in the WAR. Install, configure, and upgrade network hardware and software on NIPR, CENTRIXS-K and SIPR enclaves. Coordinate with appropriate vendors for maintenance support. Develop training materials and train on-site personnel in the proper use of VTC- Audio/Visual (A/V) hardware and software. Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate VTC requests/sessions and Telephone Conferences. Assist with the VTC setup for all Exercise and Contingency support. Provide Video Services support to 8A HQ and MSC personnel. Video Services support to include Microsoft TEAMS, Jabber, Zoom, Cisco Meeting App (CMA), VTC suites and new Audio and Visual future platforms. Conduct site surveys; assess and document current site configurations and user requirements. Recommend cost saving technical solutions but will not authorize appropriations for the government and include summary of recommended cost saving technical solutions in the MSR. Receive priorities of work to be accomplished from the 8A G6 VTC Team government representative identified by the COR. Escort local vendor(s) to support deliver materials and/or service for HQ 8A. Optimize the system operations and ensure compliance with all applicable DISA STIGs. Maintain work areas in a neat, clean, and safe condition. Meet all PWS stated requirements IAW applicable Army, DoD and federal regulations. Qualifications Experience/Skills: Two (2) of the last four (4) years performing IA/Cybersecurity tasks. Minimum of one year IT instructor experience. Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and ability to manage and report incidents. Experience working with Army leadership Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to analyze issues and take required corrective actions. Skilled at risk identification and mitigation. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability and willingness to initiate and manage relationships across the customer and team member spaces. Have experience successfully executing similar programs. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field. Bachelor's degree can be waived with four (4) continuous years performing Information Assurance/Cybersecurity tasks. Certifications: DoD 8570.01-M/DoD 8140 IAM Level II certification. Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). Clearance: Must have US Secret Clearance, Minimum Background Investigation complete NALCT3 with SSBIT5 initiated. Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
