We are seeking a driven and talented Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies in an exciting, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and improving manufacturing processes, with a focus on medical device manufacturing. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, is passionate about improving efficiency, and has a strong background in manufacturing and medical devices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Design and implement equipment and processes for manufacturing medical devices.
- Ensure that all manufacturing procedures comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing and process-related issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing process deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead process validation activities including risk assessment, process design, operational and performance qualification.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Train and guide team members on new processes and equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in manufacturing technologies and medical devices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with a focus on medical device manufacturing.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, industry standards, and regulations.
- Proven experience in process development and optimization, problem-solving, and project management.
- Strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proficiency in using process simulation software and other relevant tools.
- Certified in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies would be a plus.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations related to medical device manufacturing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
