About the RoleAs a Buyer, you will be an integral part of the Purchasing team at JPMS. Reporting to the Manager of Purchasing, you will work closely with our team of Buyers to perform all the activities and operations in purchasing. This position is hybrid and will work out of our Santa Clarita office, 3x per week.

What You will Do :Research, select, and purchase quality products and materialsArrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely deliveryAnalyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisionsCoordinate with inventory, management, marketing, creative and warehouse teamsAssess the quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and managementRun MRP (Material Requirements Planning) report daily for demand and analyze itPlan and purchase all buys, as well as purchasing requisitionsMonitor and maintain open purchase order reportExpedite and/or cancel excess purchase orders; prepare change orders as neededForecast and plan yearly, quarterly, and monthly demandsUpdate inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levelsQuote new as well as old; source existing and new business as neededRequest samples as neededManage all artwork and changes with suppliersContinuously look for cost saving methodsMaintain vendor profile in Microsoft DynamicsBuild relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing and termsUpdate management on status of ordersOverall provide support to the different departments as needed pertaining to procurementWho You Are:Have a strong work ethic and can-do attitude, leaving a positive impression on everyone you interact withCollaborate seamlessly with cross-functional stakeholders, fostering a cohesive team environmentStrong time management skills and able to act with a sense of urgencyHighly organized, detail oriented and efficient multitaskerSelf-starter and thrives in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidanceComfortable wearing many hats and moving fluidly between tasksUtilize relevant industry jargon and terminology consistently in both verbal and written communicationsAct and propose new ideas and solutions before askedYou are positive, upbeat, and friendly—with a can-do attitude and a knack for solving problemsSelf-described beauty enthusiast, passionate about hair careRequirements:

hourly range

for this position is

$21.64-$26.45 per hour . The exact hourly rate is determined by various factors including geographic location, experience, skills, and education.Discretionary Bonus Plan:
