Laboratory: The Teng Lab ( https://lab.moffitt.org/teng/ ) in the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at Moffitt Cancer Center focuses on computational and statistical method development to process, annotate and interpret cutting-edge omics datasets with the mission to understand human diseases such as cancers.The Teng lab is currently funded by NIGMS and NIDCR with ongoing research including:Statistical modeling of spatial omic signalsDeep learning of cell-specific enhancer-gene interactionsStatistical evaluation of somatic mutation combinatorial effectsMachine learning of clinical risks of clonal hematopoiesisPostdoctoral Position Responsibilities and Highlights:Lead development of computational/statistical methodsDraft reports/manuscripts for conferences and publicationsYou will be encouraged and supported to apply for training grantsThe Ideal Candidate:Passionate and motivated in computational omics researchProficient programming skills in biomedical data processingExperience in omics studiesQualifications:PhD in Computer Science, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, or the related fields.How to Apply
