Certification Details Certification Requirements: BCLS Traveler must have Compact license in hand or submitted fingerprint application package for license to apply for this position. Job Details IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a bill rate bump per hour MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT. IU Health University and Methodist are teaching facilities and require all travel nurses to agree to the possibility of precepting and/or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment. Please only submit candidates that are okay with these requirements. Traveler must have Compact license in hand or have submitted their fingerprint application package for their license to apply for this position. First Time Travelers Accepted; Travel Experience Preferred Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12 Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources. Staffing Ratios: 1:5-6 Unit Information: Adult Surgical Oncology- Specific to general surgery- Pancreatic and Hepatobiliary Cancers. We also will receive ENT patients and colorectal overflow. Job Requirements Minimum 2 Years Experience NG tube insertions, epidurals, PCAs, Wound Care, Dressings, Central line management, Foley care/management Skillset Preference: Level 1 Trauma Experience Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals Schedule Information Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12 Call-Ins: If a traveler calls in for a contracted shift, expectations are outlined based on their FTE status and it may be added at the end of the traveler contract Unit Specific Information Unit Information: Adult Surgical Oncology- Specific to general surgery- Pancreatic and Hepatobiliary Cancers. We also will receive ENT patients and colorectal overflow. Additional Details Valid Driver's License or Passport accepted. Must be clear copy. AHA ONLY.
