Job Title: Director of Workforce Readiness

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer, Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County

Schedule: Monday-Friday

JOB SUMMARY

Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County (BGCSC) is a geographically dispersed mid-sized non-profit organization dedicated to enabling all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. The Director of Workforce Readiness is responsible for Developing and implementing a cohesive strategy for workforce readiness across all BGCSC clubs, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and strategic goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of the internship program and other work-based learning experiences, enhancing the quality and reach of these opportunities.
  • Collaborate with club leaders to integrate workforce readiness programs into the broader educational and developmental activities offered by Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
  • Work closely with local businesses, educational institutions, and community partners to expand opportunities for work-based learning and ensure programs meet the current market needs.
  • Monitor and analyze program performance data to assess effectiveness and inform continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and resources to club staff to help them effectively implement and sustain workforce readiness programs.
  • Secure funding for workforce readiness initiatives through grant writing and partnership development.
  • Represent Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County at conferences, workshops, and public forums related to workforce development and education.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Human Resources, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in workforce development, educational programming, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in program development, management, and evaluation.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of motivating and managing teams.
  • Excellent partnership-building skills with an ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders including educators, businesses, and community leaders.
  • Knowledge of current trends, resources, and information related to youth employment and workforce readiness.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support nationwide programs.
