What SBLL Seeks:

Salehi Boyer Lavigne Lombana, P.A. is seeking an experienced Paralegal to assist attorneys in all phases of litigation. Candidate must be organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Paralegal Certificate preferred but not required. Must be extremely organized and self-motivated. Prior work experience dealing with First-Party Property Defense cases is preferred. We are searching for self-governing, proactive, strategic thinkers. SBLL offers a 90-day mentorship program, with ongoing and regular training. We are equipped with the highest-level apps and technology to make hybrid work a breeze, and we have an incredible team for support and guidance!

Paralegal duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Drafting correspondence to clients and opposing counsel
  • Drafting and filing pleadings, discovery demands/responses, motions, and orders
  • Preparing subpoenas
  • Document productions and redactions
  • Preparation and service of documents
  • Preparation of privilege logs
  • Preparation of witness/exhibit lists and trial binders

Paralegal Preferred Skills:

  • 3+ years' experience as a paralegal
  • Prior experience working in First-Party Property Defense litigation
  • Time Entry/billing experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Clio or other legal Case Management software
  • E-filing and E-Portal experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Organizational skills are a must
