Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to lead and manage our accounting department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting team, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers. This role requires a strong understanding of financial accounting, as well as exceptional management skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
2. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
3. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
4. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
5. Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
6. Support month-end and year-end close process.
7. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
8. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
9. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
10. Additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
3. CPA or CMA preferred.
4. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Highly skilled in math, accounting, and financial processes.
6. Proficient with accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and other financial systems.
7. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
8. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
11. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
12. Demonstrated ability to improve processes and increase efficiency.
13. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
