Job Details:

Are you a talented and experienced toolmaker with a knack for machine building? Do you possess a strong understanding of CNC machining, CAD, rubber and plastic extrusion, and EDM machines? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are a leading manufacturing company that is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Tool Maker/Machine Builder to join our dynamic team. This role will allow you to showcase your expertise, and contribute to the success of our company by ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Tool Maker/Machine Builder, your main responsibilities will include:

1. Designing, building, and repairing machinery and tools using CAD and CNC machining.
2. Working with rubber and plastic extrusion processes to produce parts and components.
3. Operating and maintaining EDM machines for toolmaking and component production.
4. Collaborating with the engineering and manufacturing teams to identify and solve production issues.
5. Performing regular maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.
6. Creating and updating technical documents and drawings for machine and tool designs.
7. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
8. Continuously improving processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tool Maker/Machine Builder in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience with CNC machining and CAD.
3. Experience with rubber and plastic extrusion processes.
4. Proficiency in operating and maintaining EDM machines.
5. Strong technical skills, including the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
8. A commitment to safety and quality, with a strong attention to detail.
9. The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
