Salary: $50,000 - $50,000 per year

We are in search of a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapy Technician to join our dynamic medical team. This is a permanent position where you will be working alongside our highly skilled physical therapists to provide exceptional care to our patients. You will play a key role in supporting our therapists and patients, ensuring the smooth operation of our therapy sessions, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist physical therapists in providing direct patient care, including therapies and treatments.
2. Prepare patients for therapy sessions by explaining procedures and helping them into therapy equipment.
3. Maintain therapy equipment to ensure it is clean and in working order. Report any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
4. Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report any unusual reactions or responses to the physical therapist.
5. Educate patients and their families about therapy procedures, home exercises, and strategies to enhance physical functioning.
6. Perform clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and assisting with billing procedures.
7. Provide exceptional customer service to patients by addressing their concerns and answering their questions in a professional and empathetic manner.
8. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
9. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies to provide the best possible care to patients.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in physical therapy or a related field is preferred.
2. At least 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Technician or in a similar role in the medical field.
3. Strong knowledge of physical therapy equipment and its maintenance.
4. Excellent customer service skills with a patient-focused approach.
5. Ability to educate patients about their treatments in a clear and compassionate manner.
6. Strong physical stamina to assist patients and handle equipment.
7. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
8. Proficient in using computer software for scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
10. Current CPR certification.
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage stress effectively.
