Accounting Manager Requirements:
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's would suffice and is preferred but not required).
- 5+ years' full-cycle accounting - must have experience actually closing the books.
- Sage Intaact preferred.
- Someone who loves sports preferred.
- The ability to work autonomously.
Accounting Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting for 5-7 entities, including managing month-end close activities.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
- Perform variance analysis and ensure accurate account reconciliations.
- Assist in the development of budgets and provide explanations for budget variances.
- Serve as the key point of contact for coordination with local teams and senior leadership.
- Support the preparation of external audits and tax filings.
- Supervise one direct report, with the potential for additional team leadership responsibilities.
