General Manager 4
to join our team at Bloomberg in Arlington VA. Located in the heart of Crystal City, the food operation consists of Pantry and Catering Services. The
General Manager
will be the onsite Manager at our Arlington location and will also support the DC location.The
General Manager 4
oversees a high-volume pantry provided by our clients to their employees, with a total MV of 2.8 million. The client provides pre-packaged snacks, bagels, fruit, and an assortment of beverages. The
General Manager 4
is responsible for overseeing Sodexo's services, which focus on stocking, sanitation, and equipment maintenance. This role will also manage catering onsite, arranging for food delivery and executing setup and cleanup for all food requests.The
General Manager 4
will interact with customers and clients daily. Excellent customer service and client relations skills are essential. Our ideal candidate will have meticulous attention to detail and a passion for hospitality. Other duties will include, but are not limited to:Managing the budget/financesManaging the client relationshipOrderingInventoryCateringWorking with local restaurants for cateringManaging a team of 1 Supervisor and 5 hourly employeesSupporting the DC locationThis position offers a traditional Business & Industry schedule, predominantly M-F, but flexibility to work some evenings for catering.
Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire). Medical benefits begin on the date of hire, and 401K with company match is eligible.What We OfferCompensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
