Job Title: Applications Architect/Robotic Process Automation Architect Location: Tallahassee, Florida Duration: 1 yr, plus extension Rate: W2 CHP Start Date: November, 2024 Job Title: Applications Architect (1) Providing IT support for Robotic Process Automation(RPA) development; (2) Designing and architecting the RPA solution using UiPath or Power Automate (3) Leading in design, specification, and selection of RPA solutions, giving due consideration to functionality, data, security, integration, infrastructure, and performance (4) Working with developers, business analysts, and subject matter experts to understand the complex technological system in order to produce integrated end-to-end solution options and develop process maps; (5) Creating detail design documentation, development, unit testing, and maintenance of internally developed applications (6) Assisting in performing periodic audits for Robotic Process Automation; (7) Assisting with deployment activities for Robotic Process Automation; (8) Assisting with orchestration activities for Robotic Process Automation; (9) Providing best practices to other developers; (10) Providing expertise regarding the integration of Robotic Process Automation applications across Commerce; (11) Determining specifications, planning, designing, and developing solutions, utilizing appropriate software engineering processes in concert with a project team; (12) Developing programming and development standards and procedures as well as programming architectures for code reuse; (13) Having in-depth knowledge of Robotic Process Automation approaches in designing, coding, testing, and debugging programs; (14) Understanding and consistently applying the attributes and processes of current application development methodologies; (15) Researching and maintaining knowledge in emerging technologies and possible application to Commerce; (16) Viewing both internally and externally as a technical expert and critical technical resource; and acting as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agent; (17) Managing development queues maintaining key metrics for the support team and provides status information to the technical services supervisor: and (18) Understanding business requirements and translating from functional to technical specifications. Knowledge, skills, and abilities: (1) Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or other related field/equivalent work experience; (2) Experience with Robotic Process Automation (UiPath or Power Automate) developer certification is preferred; (3) A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in multiple IT areas; (4) A minimum of two (2) years of relevant Robotic Process Automation (RPA) experience; (5) A minimum of five (5) years' experience in a professional senior technical role (e.g. technical lead, team lead or architect), ideally for a system integrator; (6) Excellent verbal, written communication skills to interact with Business and with IT; (7) Advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications systems design, and integration; (8) Experience as a project leader on multiple IT projects; (9) Experience working various projects/issues of high complexity that require in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments; (10) Experience workflow design skills - decision diamonds, decision trees, decision tables, state machines; (11) Strategic business acumen and understanding of organization strategy with the ability to design RPA solutions to deliver that strategy; (12) Strong critical thinker with a problem-solving aptitude; (13) Ability to deal with and resolve complex customer business issues; and (14) Demonstrated high standards of professional behavior in dealings with clients, colleagues, and staff.
