Job description-Industrial Electrician/PLC Programmer
**Job Overview:**
Industrial Electrician/PLC Programmer
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in an industrial/manufacturing foundry setting and possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
PLC troubleshooting required. PLC programming preferred. Foundry experience required.
**Responsibilities:**
-Industrial Electrician/PLC Programmer- Install, maintain, and repair PLC and electrical systems in industrial facilities- Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics and logic controllers- Test electrical systems with tools such as ohmmeters- Perform frame carpentry work related to electrical installations- Renovate electrical systems in older industrial buildings- Utilize hand tools to complete electrical projects- Work with high voltage systems safely
**Skills:**
-Industrial Electrician/PLC Programmer- Proficiency in industrial electrician practices- Knowledge of high voltage systems and safety protocols- Ability to read and interpret schematics- Experience with logic controllers- Familiarity with using an ohmmeter for testing purposes- Strong hand tool skills for installation and repair work- Previous experience in frame carpentry is a plus
