Certification Details Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, NRP, PALS, TNCC, HSS Team (workplace violence training) Job Details A hospital in Eastern Nebraska is looking for ER RN's with a minimum of 2 years of ED experience. 36 hour contract Job Requirements Minimum of 2 years ED experience required 2 YEARS EXP IN ER REQUIRED Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, NRP, PALS, TNCC, HSS Team (workplace violence training) Schedule Information 12 hours shifts Shifts include 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 3p-3a, 7p-7a ED leadership will create the schedule based on needs Weekend Requirements: Every other Holiday Requirements: Yes Two shifts of unit/department specific orientation Unit Specific Information Certified stroke center Number of Beds/Trauma Bays: 21 Common diagnoses/Types of patients: all ages, chest pain, abdominal pain, cough/congestion, orthopedic injuries, ENT emergencies, sepsis, stroke Common drips: Antibiotics, narcotics, anti-emetics, vaccines, emergency medications Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? Yes Additional Details Certified stroke center Number of Beds/Trauma Bays: 21 Ratios: 1:4 Common diagnoses/Types of patients: all ages, chest pain, abdominal pain, cough/congestion, orthopedic injuries, ENT emergencies, sepsis, stroke Common drips: Antibiotics, narcotics, anti-emetics, vaccines, emergency medications Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? Yes This is a smaller ER with less specialty resources; will transfer patients out as needed Attributes that help a nurse be successful in this unit include being a kind and compassionate caregiver, teamwork, high energy, compassionate, positivity, and a can-do attitude Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
