Accounting Manager
REMOTE SCHEDULE - MUST BE LOCATED IN HOUSTON (10-20% travel)$120-$125k total compensationCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Direct supervision of a team of 3 employees.Oversight of month/year-end closing processes.Management of monthly external financial reporting.Coordination of annual external audits.Collaborating with business leaders to offer support for various projects and initiatives.Evaluation and enhancement of accounting procedures.Partnership with the VP Divisional Controller to establish departmental objectives and track key performance indicators.Development and mentorship of departmental staff.Coordination of audit activities.Completion of other assigned duties.QUALIFICATIONS:
5-7 years of experience in accounting supervision.Experience in process improvement is advantageous.Exceptional organizational skills, self-initiative, and a strong team player.Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information across departments.Excellent communication skills.
