POSITION SUMMARY:

The Accounting Manager will manage the accounting, remote concierge, and billing groups for the Villa Sport division. They will lead initiatives to improve efficiencies and measure performance of the department. They will work closely with the VP divisional Controller in auditing, validating, and creating processes with the newly implemented club management system. They will need to be organized, self-motivated, resourceful, and able to successfully handle multiple concurrent duties and assignments with minimal direct supervision. This position regularly handles highly confidential information, credit card, and bank account information.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

$120K-$140K annually, based on relevant experience to the role, plus bonus. Full-time hours. PTO. Full benefits package. 401K with dollar-for-dollar match up to 4%. Discounts at Syufy businesses. Hybrid work environment: M-Thur at our San Rafael office, with the option to work remote Fridays weekly.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Directly supervise a staff of 3.

Manage month/year-end close.

Manage monthly external finance reporting.

Manage annual external audit.

Work with business leaders to provide support for projects and initiatives.

Review, evaluate, and improve accounting processes.

Work with VP Divisional Controller to define department objectives and monitor key results.

Develop and grow department staff.

Manage the audit of the department.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

5-7 years accounting supervision required.

Process improvement experience a plus.

Highly organized and a self-starter. Excellent team player. Focused yet flexible. Excellent judgment.

Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information within and across departments.

Strong communication skills.
