Job Details:
As a Permanent Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing industry, you will be a vital part of our team, ensuring that our production lines and equipment are operating at peak efficiency. You will provide preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for a wide range of industrial machinery, tools, and equipment. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
- Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
- Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.
- Maintain or repair specialized equipment or machinery located in cafeterias, laundries, hospitals, stores, offices, or factories.
- Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
- Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
- Plan and lay out repair work using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles and equipment.
- Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and schematics.
- Ability to read and understand complex electrical and mechanical prints.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
- Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime.
- Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Proficient in English; Knowledge of second language a huge plus.
- Proficient in problem-solving, punctual, detail-oriented, and reliable.
