This role will report to the Head of People Analytics and will lead a team of analysts, data scientists, and data engineers to derive insights and recommendations that inform strategic people-related decisions.What You Will DoLead and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation and inclusion.Develop a data science strategy and roadmap for People Analytics, aligned with organizational objectives.Proactively identify and lead improvements to the execution of research and analytics within the People Analytics team and EX eco-system.Partner with HR leaders and business stakeholders to understand their needs and connect insights to business goals and strategies.Drive a product-driven, iterative approach to creating, testing, and automating insights about Adobe's people and teams.Advise on how to leverage data science across EX, and work with analysts to promote the adoption of data science practices.Demonstrate deep care for the ethical implications of working with employee data and ensure team compliance with privacy and legal regulations.Lead the team responsible for delivering:People Data & Metrics : Defining critical data elements, the logic and implementation of key people metrics, and our approach to capturing and interpreting new data signals.Predictive Modeling : Developing predictive models to forecast outcomes and inform people decisions.Strategic Insights : Conducting ad-hoc analytical deep dives on complex data, and presenting to (non-analytical) stakeholders in a way that drives impact and decision making.Automation : Developing algorithms to auto-extract insights from various data sources, and automating compelling, frequent analyses (e.g., via R or Python scripts).Data Architecture & Governance : Ensuring we have a solid foundation for managing, processing, and analyzing data efficiently and securely (in collaboration with other technical teams across Adobe).What You Will Need10+ years of experience in applied data science, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within People Analytics.Strong proficiency in data querying, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and hypothesis testing using tools such as SQL, Python, and R.Experience working with people data (e.g., survey data, HRIS data, human behavior or product interaction data) in an applied setting.Strong understanding of data infrastructure requirements to enable the analysis of employee data.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions and levels within an organization.Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $148,100 -- $289,900 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
