With a corporate mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™, Arthrex has pioneered the field of arthroscopy and develops more than 1,000 innovative products and procedures each year that support all aspects of orthopedics. The I&R Product Management team in Naples, Florida is responsible for product development and downstream marketing across a large portfolio of medical devices used in a variety of orthopedic applications. We are searching for an intern pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, advertising or other business-related majors. The successful candidate will prepare and execute product launch plans in partnership and with guidance from respective Senior Product Management team.

This internship will run from May 2025 – August 2025. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.

Main Objective:

To receive an introduction into Product Management including downstream marketing support of a recently launched system as well as downstream preparation for a soon to be launched system. Intern(s) will also be exposed to product development activities, clinical labs, and onsite operating room exposure of Arthrex accounts to better understand the needs of clinicians and our sales force. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop launch kit to be used by sales force as product guide and reference for all pertinent information pertaining to product and launch strategy.
  • Support on-site sales training and educational events.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing team to ensure copy and brand vision is consistently carried across all marketing assets.
  • Support the compilation of market research and market analysis.

Education and Experience:

  • A senior in college or recent graduate required, preferably with a degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising or Communications. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)
  • Ability to work with cadaveric specimens is highly advantageous. 
  • Knowledge of human anatomy highly preferred.
  • Ability to speak in front of large audiences preferred.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
