Job DetailsResponsibilities
- Overseeing daily operations at construction sites, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Developing and implementing detailed project schedules, and coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and other team members to ensure smooth project progression.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify that work is being carried out according to the project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Resolving any issues or delays that may arise, implementing contingency plans as necessary to keep the project on track.
- Coordinating with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project objectives are met.
- Providing regular updates on project status to senior management, clients, and other relevant parties.
- Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Training and mentoring junior staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications
To be considered for the role of Permanent Superintendent, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a superintendent role within the construction industry, with experience with Mission Critical Projects (180M)
- Extensive experience with project scheduling, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously required.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in construction management software and other relevant technology.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various construction sites as needed.
