Salary: $85,000 - $175,000 per year

Job Details

Responsibilities

  1. Overseeing daily operations at construction sites, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  2. Developing and implementing detailed project schedules, and coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and other team members to ensure smooth project progression.
  3. Conduct regular site inspections to verify that work is being carried out according to the project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  4. Resolving any issues or delays that may arise, implementing contingency plans as necessary to keep the project on track.
  5. Coordinating with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project objectives are met.
  6. Providing regular updates on project status to senior management, clients, and other relevant parties.
  7. Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  8. Training and mentoring junior staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications

To be considered for the role of Permanent Superintendent, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a superintendent role within the construction industry, with experience with Mission Critical Projects (180M)
  2. Extensive experience with project scheduling, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously required.
  3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team.
  5. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet.
  6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
  7. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  8. Proficiency in construction management software and other relevant technology.
  9. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various construction sites as needed.
