Position Overview

This position will serve functional users across various departments. It requires a technical skillset and knowledge as well as an understanding of the needs of functional users. This position also plays a critical role in the support of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (Salesforce/TargetX) by delivering successful solutions via managing users, data, and permissions; maintaining and customizing apps; and building reports and dashboards.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field and three (3) years of work experience in computing, information systems, or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Understanding of Salesforce data model, including custom and standard objects, relationships, and data manipulation techniques Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce/TargetX to help drive organizational decision-making. Strong understanding of Salesforce/TargetX best practices and functionality. Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in making critical decisions. Knowledge of professional standards and regulations. Knowledge of, or the ability to learn, University policies and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships. Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work. Strong organizational skills, the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands for resources. Approach issues with a strategic mindset, be collaborative, and possess excellent organizational and project management skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume area. Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of safety and security precautions appropriate to work performed. Ability to identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions. Preferred Qualifications

Two (2) years combined experience in the following; Administering Salesforce/TargetX. Creating custom automated reporting, and compelling data visualization dashboards specific to individual end user needs. Supporting major change initiatives including knowledge and skill in process improvement, project planning, conflict resolution, team building, customer service, and data-based decision-making concepts.

Experience working in a PeopleSoft system. Exposure to SQL and writing queries. Show an affinity for business analysis. Degree in IT, related field, or IT developer experience. Required License/Registration/Certifications

N/A Job Duties:

Serve as internal consultant to Division leadership and staff for the purpose of mining relevant data from the CRM for use in data-driven decision making. Ensure that data related to prospective students is accurately collected, entered and maintained in a manner that effectively supports student relationship management and increases applicant yield. Support the administration and enhancement of a university-wide Salesforce/TargetX CRM database. Develop, configure, test, and deploy CRM related solutions such as custom fields, page layouts, record types, business processes, validation rules, assignment rules, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, automations, reports, dashboards and workflow management in the pursuit of student engagement and recruitment efficiency. Document processes, develop procedure manual, and provide ongoing support to users through training and assistance to maximize their understanding and use of the Salesforce/TargetX CRM. Collaborate with Admissions and Marketing Communications to develop, launch, and update communications using multi-channel outreach as needed for effective, competitive marketing and recruiting. Monitor and analyze the performance of all student communication campaigns within the CRM, including open rates, click-through rates, response rates, and overall engagement. Serve as the functional manager of the CRM, liaise with internal and external CRM support providers, including admissions departments, Campus and System IT, Salesforce, and Liaison (TargetX) to support ongoing configuration, test new functionality and upgrades to the CRM as well as data security and integrity measures. Assist in strategic planning and innovation to leverage capabilities of the Salesforce/TargetX CRM, as well as integration across campus systems to optimize data fluidity. Update production data using the student information system (PeopleSoft) and the Salesforce/TargetX CRM with appropriate security access. Coordinate testing of updates, enhancements, and new functionality in the student information system (PeopleSoft), the Salesforce/TargetX CRM, Demand Tools, and Informatica. Maintain application setups in coordination with counterparts at each of the UNT System entities for a specific application area. Manage user licenses, roles, profiles, object settings, permissions sets and access to the CRM. Lead multiple projects in the development and implementation of CRM policies and procedures. Stays up-to-date on industry best practices.
