Project Accounting Manager

Our client is an industry leading construction company headquartered locally in the Columbus, OH area. The Project Accounting Manager is responsible for leading a team of Project Accountants to maintain accurate project financials from start to close. This is a full-time onsite role with an annual salary range starting at $100,000.

• Manage a team of 5 project accountants
• Team development and mentorship
• Project based accounting - project forecasting, business forecasting, financial statements
• Ensure accurate and timely project financial reporting, revenue recognition, and project billing to
  Owners in accordance with contract terms
• Prepare project financial and operational reports on project health, cash flow, cost trends and variances, and forecast risks
• Collaborate with the Controller on short and long-term forecasting of the business
• Collaborate with the operations team

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent industry experience
• 3-5 years of construction industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong Excel user with an ability to use pivot tables and vlookup
• Prior supervisory experience in managing a team and developing employees is strongly preferred
• Experience with ADP and process improvements/implementations is a plus
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently with a high volume of output
• Detail-oriented and strong organizational habits
• Self-driven to complete continuous improvement initiatives and support ongoing learning
