Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial records.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
  • Record and track fixed assets, including calculating depreciation.
  • Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to support financial reporting.
  • Stay current on accounting regulations and contribute to compliance and regulatory reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for improving accounting processes to drive efficiency.
  • Monitor potential unclaimed property liabilities and address them as needed.
  • Support the team with ad-hoc projects and financial analysis as required.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (internship experience is a bonus).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and offer solutions.
  • A self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for working across departments and collaborating with team members.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with working knowledge of pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
