Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Superintendent with a knack for overseeing large commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tilt wall and industrial construction. This role involves managing all on-site operations of various construction projects, ensuring that projects are completed within the stipulated time frame and budget while meeting the highest quality standards. The Permanent Superintendent will work closely with the project management team, subcontractors, and clients to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all on-site operations of commercial and industrial construction projects, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
2. Coordinate and supervise the activities of subcontractors, suppliers, and workforce, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
3. Implement and maintain the project schedule, identify and solve problems, and communicate progress to all stakeholders.
4. Regularly inspect the construction site to verify compliance with building and safety codes and regulations.
5. Facilitate regular project meetings with the project team, subcontractors, and clients to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions.
6. Prepare and submit project reports, including progress reports, budget reports, and other necessary documentation.
7. Maintain a safe and clean job site by enforcing safety and housekeeping policies and procedures.
8. Collaborate with architects and engineers to interpret construction plans and specifications, resolve any potential issues, and ensure project success.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Superintendent role in the construction industry, with a focus on large commercial construction projects.
2. Proven experience with tilt wall, office, distribution, and commercial construction.
3. Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, and safety regulations.
4. Proficiency in using construction management software and standard office software.
5. Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
8. A degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
9. Certification in construction safety and knowledge of concrete work will be an added advantage.
