Sr. Vice President of Finance

Our client is a well-respected nationally respected client seeking their next VP of Finance. This candidate will be reporting to a Division President and mentor, train, hire, a large team. The ideal candidate will be a CPA, have large homebuilding experience, and have strong leadership qualities. This is a succession plan to hold the highest seat in Finance in the United States.

Responsibilities of the Sr. VP of Finance Opportunity:
  • Own the reporting, internal controls and policy implementation and be accountable for the overall accounting function
  • The VP of Finance will ensure monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and forecasting is timely, accurate and in compliance with GAAP
  • Analyze budgets and forecasts for all Division entities and provide management reports on variances, trends, and control standards and practices
  • Consult with various departments for projects relating to financial/accounting needs
  • Prepare cash flow analysis
  • The VP of Finance will provide review and analysis of Land Acquisition Proformas
  • Accountable for the effective management of the Accounting and Finance department including hiring, performance reviews, and budget
Preferred Qualifications of the Sr. Vice President of Finance position:
  • Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or other related degree
  • CPA designation required
  • 7-10 years of progressive Homebuilding experience
  • 10 years of progressive experience in leadership roles
  • Curious and inquisitive mindset
  • Detail oriented and project management skills
