The US Carrier Sales team is seeking an experienced sales professional with a passion for technology and innovation to lead efforts in the rapidly growing product categories within a major US Carrier account. We collaborate with partners to seek opportunities, develop account plans, and implement programs to grow the business, resulting in phenomenal customer experiences and expanded adoption of the Apple ecosystem.
As a Carrier iPhone Sales Lead, you will be responsible for:
Developing strategic plans and tactical activities with the US Carrier team that will result in growing iPhone sales in conjunction with the Worldwide team, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams. Designing promotional strategies, offers, and incentive programs, managing supply availability, and ensuring new products are launched successfully. Facilitating and overseeing the drafting of legal agreements, term sheets, and negotiating commercial terms. Achieving or exceeding assigned sales quotas and other critical metrics while thriving in a dynamic, pressure-filled environment. Building and leveraging relationships, facilitating interactions, and supporting negotiations across Apple products to drive promotional planning and further business development. Maintaining excellent business relationships and working with cross-functional teams that deliver a productive alliance to achieve mutual strategic outcomes. Staying informed of market dynamics, account history, and emerging partner and market trends while understanding how to capitalize on these opportunities. Identifying opportunities and supporting them through closure, ensuring any client issues and/or concerns are raised and addressed. Preparing presentations and analyses to support sales initiatives (Keynote and Excel skills). Tracking progress and providing regular reports to management. Performing assigned administrative tasks, including meeting scheduling, sales and inventory reporting, promotional tracking, and files/forms/information creation and management. Minimum Qualifications
Typically 8+ years of performance-proven sales management and/or account management experience. Thorough understanding of the wireless/telecommunications industry. Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills, including the ability to influence cross-functionally, navigate organizational structures, and lead complex negotiations. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in the following areas: business development, data analysis, problem-solving, negotiating terms, tactical execution, account development, forecasting, presentations, business solutions, multi-task management, and administrative planning and organization. Strong analytical skills to assess opportunities from many angles and perspectives—both quantitative and qualitative, to drive sales results. Solid understanding of partner economics and the value drivers to better align strategies and intersecting opportunities. Experience successfully navigating the channel to influence internal and external partners. Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated track record for delivering operational support and elevating team performance within a dynamic organization. Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to bring structure and clarity where none exists. Deep knowledge of the carrier business with the ability to maintain senior executive relationships, navigate all layers within carrier organizational structures, and understand their value strategies to consistently develop business. Understanding of merchandising strategies and assortment planning. Highly collaborative and inclusive engagement style, seeking to deliver outstanding outcomes - regardless of the status quo or perceived boundaries. Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including proficiency with Keynote). Proven presentation and partner management skills, thriving in a rapid-paced environment and a culture that relies on collaboration.
