We are currently seeking a Associate Family Law Attorneys to join our offices in Charlotte and Boone, NC.
This role requires at least 1 year of experience in the field of family law.
The ideal candidate will have solid litigation skills and comfortable in the courtroom.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court proceedings related to family law matters such as divorce, child custody, spousal support, etc.
- Provide legal advice to clients regarding their rights and responsibilities.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents including petitions, pleadings, motions, and agreements.
- Conduct thorough and detailed case research to support legal proceedings.
- Negotiate settlements in a timely manner to resolve disputes efficiently.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current family law rules and regulations.
- Develop and implement effective case strategies in consultation with clients.
- Work collaboratively with legal support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- Comply with all legal standards and protocols to maintain the ethical integrity of the practice.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A valid license to practice law in the state North Carolina.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in family law.
- Proven experience in legal writing and providing legal advice.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to resolve disputes efficiently.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle complex legal issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to maintain a strong attorney-client relationship.
- Proficient in legal research tools and software.
- Ability to handle a high caseload while maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the firm's reputation for integrity and professionalism.
