Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical - Neuro/Ortho Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30); Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Compact License or single state acceptable Certifications: BCLS required, CPI preferred Must-Have: Experience in ortho/neuro settings Job Description: - Work in a unit with a focus on medical, surgical, neurosurgery, and orthopedics.- First-time travelers are accepted.- Weekend work is required unless the schedule states otherwise.- Call requirements are not applicable.- Floating within the hospital is expected; however, floating to sister hospitals is not required.- Block scheduling is not accommodated unless specified in posting.- Local candidates are accepted, with no difference in treatment.- Pending licenses are not accepted.- There are restrictions on the maximum of one week for requested time off.- RNs will have two orientation sessions per month.- EPIC charting experience is a significant advantage.- Candidates must disclose any background hits or DUIs.- Prior staff must be separated from the facility for 18 months before returning as a traveler.- Orientation and modules details are outlined with modules being completed pre-start, except for EPIC module during orientation.
