ICU RN Days/Eves/Nights Rotate and EOW - 36hrs.

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Specialty: ICU Nursing Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotate days/evenings/nights - 36 hours per week Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 3 years of ICU RN experience required, with 2 years of continuous MICU experience preferred. License: Active Massachusetts RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Ability to read telemetry strips- Telemetry competency Job Description: - Provide high-quality care to a diverse adult patient population in a 20-bed medical/surgical ICU.- Treat patients with conditions such as sepsis, GI bleed, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, renal failure, DKA, and cardiogenic shock.- Collaborate with attending physicians and residents available 24/7 in the ICU.- Maintain an RN to patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1 for high-acuity cases.- Float to medical/surgical units as needed.- Rotate shifts as required for day positions (may include 7a-7p, 11a-11p, or 7p-7a).- Utilize EPIC as the electronic medical record system.- Maintain certifications as required and uphold high professional standards in patient care.
