Weekly Pay Range - $1999 To $2221 Job Title: RN Telemetry I Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights) - 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM, includes every other weekend - 36 hours per week Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Preferred two years of acute care hospital experience License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Willingness to float to 8 different units- Telemetry monitoring skills including interval measurement and strip interpretation- Experience with TR Band, cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips Job Description: - Responsible for cardiac monitoring, managing cardiac drips, and interpreting telemetry strips.- Must perform telemetry monitoring every 4 hours.- Provide care for patients including ED boarder patients, medication administration in acute mental health units, and non-vented ICU patients who are transfer ready.- Float to various Med/Surg Tele areas within the hospital as needed.- Maintain a clinician to patient ratio of up to 5:1 during Days/Evenings and up to 6:1 during Nights.- Utilize EMR systems such as EPIC, Omnicell, and Kronos.- Engage in a dynamic work environment with units ranging from 8 to 41 beds.This position offers an opportunity to work in a versatile float pool, requiring adaptability and strong clinical skills across multiple units.
