Weekly Pay Range - $1999 To $2221 Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry Job Specialty: Telemetry Nurse Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM, rotating days/evenings/nights, every other weekend Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care hospital experience License: Active RN License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: Willingness to float between 8 different units Job Description: - Responsible for cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips- Provide care in various Med/Surg Telemetry areas- Must have experience with telemetry monitoring, including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours- Experience with TR Band required- Perform cardiac drips and read telemetry strips proficiently- Clinician-to-patient ratio is up to 5:1 during days and evenings, and up to 6:1 during nights- Care for a diverse patient population, including ED border patients, medication administration in acute mental health units, and non-vented transfer-ready patients in ICU- Use EPIC for electronic medical records, along with Omnicell and Kronos systems Additional Information: - Bed counts in various units range from 8 to 41 beds- Float throughout the hospital to all Med/Surg Telemetry areas
