Weekly Pay Range - $2196 To $2439 Job Title: RN Telemetry I Job Specialty: RN Telemetry I Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: 2 years of acute care hospital experience preferred License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Willingness to float between 8 different units Job Description: - Responsible for cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips.- Floating pool nurse required to cover multiple Med/Surg Telemetry areas.- Units to include: various hospital units as assigned.- Telemetry monitoring involves interval measurement and strip interpretation every 4 hours.- Must have experience with TR Band, cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips.- Clinician to patient ratio: Up to 5:1 for days and evenings; nights up to 6:1.- Care for ED border patients, medication administration in the acute mental health unit, and non-vented transfer-ready ICU patients.- Familiarity with EMR systems such as EPIC, Omnicell, and Kronos.- Ability to adapt and manage patient care across diverse units.
