Weekly Pay Range - $2196 To $2439 Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry I Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active nursing license required Certifications: - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)- BLS (Basic Life Support)- Telemetry certification Must-Have: - Ability to read telemetry strips- Knowledge of cardiac drips Job Description: - Work in a 37-bed medical telemetry unit.- Handle patients admitted from various hospital units or directly by physicians.- Care for patients with Cardizem, Nitroglycerin, Lasix, and Heparin drips.- Provide post-care for pacemaker and cardiac catheterization patients, with or without interventions.- Care for patients diagnosed with NSTEMI.- Float to applicable units when needed.- Participate in rotating shifts if required, primarily within specified hours.- Maintain a clinician-to-patient ratio of 1:4 during day and evening shifts, and 1:5-6 during night shifts.- Support a primary patient population dealing with conditions such as CHF, Atrial Fibrillation, Pulmonary Embolus, and pneumonia.- Use EPIC as the electronic medical record charting system.Note: Applicants must have the required certifications and skills, including the ability to interpret telemetry strips and manage cardiac drips, to be eligible for this position.
