job summary:We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team, with responsibilities focused on ensuring smooth financial operations, accurate reporting, and compliance with regulations. This role involves managing account reconciliations, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to financial audits and other key projects.

responsibilities:
Oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring all journal entries and reconciliations are completed accurately.Perform detailed analysis of budget variances, collaborating with department leaders to resolve discrepancies.Provide essential support for audits, including SOX compliance, and ensure timely submission of compliance reports and tax filings.Manage complex financial transactions such as intercompany reconciliations, consolidations, and transfer pricing.Address and resolve accounting issues related to payroll, accounts payable, and receivables.Participate in various financial projects to support broader business goals.Serve as a key resource for troubleshooting financial issues, offering guidance and support as needed.qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation processes.Expertise in Excel for financial analysis and data management.Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.Experience in cost accounting is a plus.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to handle multiple projects with minimal oversight while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.A minimum of 4 years of accounting experience (either a combination of public and private or entirely private).A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA certification is preferred but not required.Strong command of accounting concepts and Excel proficiency.Local Phoenix candidates only.
