Responsibilities:
As a Water/Wastewater Technical Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and leading water and wastewater projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, scientists, and other technical staff to ensure smooth project execution.
- Using AutoCAD to create detailed design plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects.
- Conducting feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost estimates for proposed projects.
- Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, maintaining open and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues or delays, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensuring all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry best practices.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Water/Wastewater Technical Leader role should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional engineering (PE) license is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the water/wastewater engineering industry, with a proven track record of successful project and people management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, design standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and deliver projects on time.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to tackle complex engineering challenges and find innovative solutions.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
