This role will take someone as light as a recent graduate, a subcontractor tradesperson wanting to get into corporate or a 1st year looking to leap!!
Position Overview:
In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to supporting our project management team in the successful execution of our building projects. Your efforts will be vital to ensuring smooth planning, coordination, and completion of various tasks across multiple project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and management of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Facilitate communication with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Conduct on-site visits to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide support to the project team by handling essential documentation, such as RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Analyze project metrics and deliver regular updates on progress and performance.
- Ensure that all work complies with established company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Address and resolve any project-related challenges that arise during the lifecycle.
- Collaborate with team members to promote ongoing improvements and drive innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a similar field, or at least 2 years of experience in construction project management or a related role.
- Strong grasp of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
- Highly organized with effective communication skills.
- Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
- Ability to interpret and understand construction blueprints and specifications.
- Detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused work environment.
