You thrive on working with other people and take pride in being defect free in the work you do.Job DescriptionEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure that incoming products are inspected in compliance with the Purple Tech Pack and/or product specifications.Must be able to interpret drawings and/or technical specifications.Experienced in using a variety of inspection devices and measuring tools: such as calipers, micrometers, measuring tapes, and scales.Record inspection results in applicable Checklist/database.Must be experience with using Excel spreadsheets.Accurately document nonconforming product by completing a Nonconforming Report, ability to use an iPad camera to provide evidence of the nonconformance.Review supplier provided paperwork to ensure it meets stated requirements.Ability to write basic reports that provide clear understanding.Provide support in other areas of the department as needed.Accurately use computer software.Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.Previous experience in Kaizen Events or 6 Sigma preferred.Education/Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma required, technical or Associate's Degree preferred.Minimum of 1 year Receiving Inspection experience required.3+ years Quality experience in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities RequirementsAbility to read, understand, and follow written instructionsExperience with product testing and inspectionAttention to detailSelf-MotivatedGood organizational skillsBasic computer skills (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams)Good communication skills and ability to resolve conflictAbility to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shiftAbility to lift up to 50lbBENEFITS AND PERKSMedical, Dental, Vision401(k) MatchPaid Time OffEarn a MattressPurple SwagAmazing Purple ProductsWHY WORK AT PURPLE?Make your mark: We value innovative thinking.
