We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Product Marketing Lead
specializing in
product marketing
to lead and execute marketing strategies for Calm. This role focuses on driving user acquisition, engagement, and retention through innovative campaigns and data-driven insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product marketing strategies, manage project timelines, and ensure successful launches that align with business goals.
We are hiring remote workers for this role in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, New York City, or Minneapolis areas. At this time, only candidates in these locations will be considered.
What You’ll Do
Develop and implement product marketing strategies
for app features and updates, including go-to-market plans.
Coordinate cross-functional teams
(Product, Lifecycle, PR/Comms, etc.) to ensure marketing activities align with product development timelines.
Lead the creation and execution of
integrated marketing campaigns , focusing on user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Manage project timelines , deliverables, and budgets to ensure successful product launches and campaigns.
Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor performance
to inform marketing strategies and identify new opportunities.
Oversee
content development
for campaigns, including in-app messaging, social media, email marketing, paid media, and other channels.
Track and report
on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Work closely with the
Growth, User Experience, and Product teams
to refine messaging and improve the overall user journey.
Lead A/B testing
initiatives and optimize campaigns based on data insights and user feedback.
Who You Are
5+ years of experience
in product marketing, with a focus on mobile apps or digital products.
Proven experience in managing end-to-end
marketing projects
across multiple channels.
Strong understanding of
app marketing , including app store optimization (ASO), push notifications, and mobile-specific advertising.
Familiarity with
analytics platforms
(e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel) to track app performance and user behavior.
Strong organizational and project management skills with a focus on
delivering high-impact campaigns on time.
Ability to
adapt quickly to changing priorities
in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Minimum Requirements
Highly cross-functional marketer with experience working with
growth marketing
or
user acquisition teams.
Proficiency in managing multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring that all deadlines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with
agile methodologies
for project management.
Calm uses a geographic pay model that determines salaries based on the location where an employee lives. For this position, the base pay ranges across Calm’s pay tiers is as follows:
$110,000 - $208,000
The base pay range represents the low and high end of Calm’s salary range for this position. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, experience and other qualifications.
This role is also eligible for equity + comprehensive benefits + 401k + flexible time off.
