Successful General Managers at AVE are committed to coaching and motivating their teams and holding them accountable, so their properties can operate at the highest level and their team members achieve professional growth within our brand.If you are seasoned leader who is hands-on, strategic, and approaches every day with a hospitality-focused mindset, this could be the perfect role for you!ResponsibilitiesUtilize a hands-on approach to lead, coach, mentor, and supervise the teamActively promote the AVE vision, mission, culture, and QUEST values system amongst all team membersDevelop and execute sales and marketing plans to achieve financial resultsWork closely with the Business Development team to grow existing clients and forge new relationships to drive furnished suite occupancy and revenue goalsWork closely with the Leasing team to drive unfurnished apartment occupancy and revenue goalsCollaborate with leadership across all departments (asset/finance/marketing/IT/operations) to operate at the highest level and drive financial resultsManage budget and expenses to deliver financial resultsProvide exceptional customer service to all residents, clients, prospects, partners, etc. to drive brand service cultureLead team in delivering elevated resident lifestyle through event programming, social media, and resident technologyHire, train, evaluate, and mentor team members in all property roles (sales, resident services, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration) to operate at the highest level and deliver professional growthInspire and motivate all team members to operate at the highest level and empower them to take full ownership of their individual rolesDeliver urgent follow-up to resident inquiries to ensure resident satisfactionManage vendors and contractors to drive seamless operationsWalk make-readies and the property daily to ensure brand asset presentation standards and sales successManage apartment retention program to drive lease renewalsAudit digital storefronts on a weekly basis to ensure competitive edge (Marketing Websites, Google MyBusiness/Yelp/Apartments.com, etc.)Report on property performance by preparing weekly leasing and traffic reports, as well as monthly financial analysisRepresent your property at relevant industry and local events (Chamber of Commerce/Travel/Relocation/Real Estate) to drive brand awarenessFoster a positive, professional, and collaborative team-oriented environmentRequirements5-7+ years of direct leadership experience in mentoring, coaching, training, and supervising a teamHospitality, travel, relocation, corporate housing, or multifamily industry experience strongly preferredProven success in driving sales, financial, and operational results to meet and exceed goalsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategicallyAbility to build and maintain strong relationships with team members, residents, and clientsYardi and Oscar systems knowledge preferred but not requiredCompensation$125,000-$150,000/yearIndividual compensation decisions will vary as the annual base compensation range provided is approximate and determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, qualifications, education, and geographic location. AVE also offers additional bonus potential paid out on a monthly and/or quarterly basis (dependent upon the position), which is not included in the base compensation range listed above.
