- You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the
GS-13
grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience, performing the following duties:Managing or leading a team; ANDApplying knowledge of Pay and Compensation policies, regulations, and standards; ANDReviewing, analyzing, and resolving payroll and personnel system errors; ANDProviding technical advice to senior management, supervisors and employees on a wide variety of payroll and related pay and leave administration issues.Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level.
