Accounts Receivable Specialist - Gov. Con.

I am working with a government contractor in the area looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Specialist on a permanent basis. They have strong tenure on the team as it's a great place to work! There is definite opportunity for growth, and it's a hybrid role where you can work from four days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate invoices for a wide range of contracts and grants from federal, state, local, and private sponsors.
• Reconcile and analyze revenue and unbilled amounts on a monthly basis.
• Prepare timely and accurate sponsor financial reports as needed.
• Work with staff, sponsors, and program units to resolve collection issues
• Provide financial analysis and support for contract closeout
• Ad-hoc data collecting, reporting, analysis and special projects as assigned.
• Provide support to internal and external audits.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of government contracting and accounts receivable experience
• Strong communication skills
